Kesef

Pricing

One plan. Everything in it.

No tiers, no per-account limits, and no feature held back for a higher plan. A budgeting app that charges more to let you see more of your own money has the incentives backwards.

Kesef

$36/year

Or $4 a month. Paying yearly saves $12 — three months.

Thirty-six because it is double chai, and because it is the right price for something you open once a week.

  • Unlimited accounts, transactions and categories
  • The Jewish-calendar spending outlook
  • Unlimited sinking funds
  • Event and simcha budgeting, with templates
  • Maaser ledger and pledge tracking
  • Debt payoff projections, both strategies
  • Reminders that defer around Shabbos and yom tov
  • Native phone apps
  • Read-only API access for your own AI
  • CSV export, any time, of everything

No card required to create an account and try it.

If a payment fails

The app becomes read-only. Not locked, not partially hidden, not downgraded to a teaser — read-only.

  • Every transaction, report and chart stays visible.
  • CSV export keeps working, so you can leave with your data.
  • Your AI connection keeps reading.
  • Only writing pauses: no new transactions, no plan edits.
This is a deliberate design decision, not a grace period. Holding somebody's financial history hostage over a card that expired is not a business model worth having.

Cancelling

One button, effective at the end of the period you already paid for. No email, no phone call, no retention flow. After it lapses the app stays readable indefinitely, so you can come back to old records whenever you need them.

Questions we get asked

Is there a family or household plan?

Not yet. The data model was built with a seam for it, and it is the next thing on the list — a wedding budget is usually planned by two people.

Do you sell or share my data?

No, and there is no advertising or affiliate revenue in the product. The subscription is the entire business model, which is the only arrangement where our interests and yours point the same way. The privacy page is specific about what is stored.

What does it cost to connect a bank?

Nothing extra. Bank connections are included, and you can also run the whole app by entering transactions yourself if you would rather not connect anything.
